Here’s an upcoming event that you don’t want to miss. Join the All Islands Association on September 26, 2020, at Hartley Park, Mount Vernon, NY, between the hours of 1-5 pm as we help the children in the community start the 2020 school year.
Since 1974, the Association has awarded scholarships to assist youngsters through college. Funds are generated from the Annual Scholarship Luncheon held in May. Through this effort the Association has been able to financially support and encourage young people who are going to college. Students who have been assisted through this Scholarship Program have chosen careers as medical doctors, accountants, teachers, dentists, nurses, business executives, lawyers – just to name a few.
Our effort to assist our youth must begin at an early stage in their lives. The need to assist our children at the elementary level is needed more than ever.”
